Pia Toscano has unveil the studio edition of This Time her premiere single. Toscano had once been an American Idol competitor and the first time she did this song was during last week’s American Idol tour. She performed a studio edition of the song during the radio show steered by Ryan Seacrest earlier today.

Ester Dean wrote and co-produced the song. She has also written several smash songs for performers like Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.

Last week, an announcement was made that Toscano has entered into a record contract with Interscope Records, and her premiere record is set to be made public later this year.

According to Toscano, her upcoming record is “a pop album inspired by a bit of R&B” adding that she intends to record some cool up-beat songs.

The twenty two years old singer took the 9th position in American Idol’s tenth season. Her removal raised a clamor of support for her as many saw her as being among the musical competition’s likely victors.

Toscano has said that the huge amount of public backing she got from the fans, stars and judges after her elimination sort of overwhelmed her.
