The news judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler and the host Ryan Seacrest reached New Orleans on Sunday to carry out the final local auditions for the tenth season of the American Idol. Randy Jackson is expected to arrive soon.

Media were not allowed inside but the WVUE-TV, a local affiliate of Fox, did manage to get its cameras inside. The WVUE-TV showed Steven Tyler and Ryan Seacrest coming to conduct auditions in the Sunday afternoon.

American Idol is a major talent show for Fox and the first round of audition in New Orleans, which was held on July 26, attracted over 6,500 wannabe ‘American Idols.’

The final round is scheduled to be over by the Monday afternoon and the judges are expected to hold a news conference after that.

Dave Walker, a TV critic for Times-Picayune (a local daily), will be attending the news conference too and his assessment would be published the following day in the newspaper.
