‘We are not competition’, say two contestants of American Idol

American Idol– A place where the cut-throat competition is the only religion, there are two contestants who love to call each other ‘friends’. Colton and Phillip believe that their styles are completely different and there is no reason why they should be treated as rivals.

They even did not like the rivalry-based comment made by the mentor Jimmy Lovine. They want the viewers to remember them as good artists and great friends.
Spending time together and discussing music is what they like the most about the opportunity that they have got in the shape of being American Idol contestants.
It seems results that will be aired on April 12 will have no effect on the spirit of friendship that these two artists share.
